I've had an American account for a while now, I only use it for downloading any demos/trailers that the UK either doesn't get, or gets later.

There is a lot of content that I would be interested in on the American marketplace, but I would expect downloading premium content from a different country to be one of the main ways of them finding out fake accounts so I don't bother.

That just isn't fair, America has LOADS more trailers, in HD, like Harry Potter, Shrek3, and downloadable TV shows for a price, like CSI for 230 MS points each..

In regards to getting points on the US silver account. If you dont have a visa, would it be feasible to expect that points cards bought from the popular jap/us importers would work fine - and maybe even UK ones (but obviously you lose the sweet exchange rate) ???

Wonder if you gt a conflict with a UK credit debit card and purchasing with USA acount or if it flags their attention?

I set up an American account a few weeks back and it got banned within a couple of days. Maybe it was because it was a Gold account and not Silver...? I'll set up another one later and stick to Silver this time to see if it works ok.
