Using mouse and keyboard xD Xbox

Guys today a friend of mine was playing, and I saw the death camera and believe me, he was using mouse and keyboard is impossible what he was doing with it pad, well do you know the best attachment for your pad to use keyboard and mouse?

We saw few of them but I leave it you you because I love this forum and you always answer.

Anyone use a XIM3 here?

PC gamed on many titles over a few years, went over to the xbox and I am not an average player.. although it's quite frustration as I will no way be able to get the hang of a pad like I was used to Mouse & Keyboard.

Always been tempted but the XIM3 was way to expensive, although the XIM Edge has been developed and placed on sale for $89.99 (£57) was just curious since it would be coming over from the states.. would there be any additional charges?

Would appreiate any information on this or from someone in the UK who bought a XIM3 Edge, what it cost them in total etc!

Personally I don't think it's cheating. You wouldn't say someone using a wheel in a racing game vs. a joypad was cheating would you?

I can understand why some find it frustrating though.

Well the major difference there is they are authorised accessories for use in said games.

Last time I checked there wasn't a Microsoft mouse/keyboard for the 360.

Don't get me wrong I will still sleep at night as well, but I'll forever think people using such things are douche bags. It's not like you cannot play the games on PC.

Except on the PC I imagine they'd get their ass handed to them by someone who is actually expert in using a mouse and keyboard...

The thing is though, were you instantly a gaming god with the M&Kb? Or did it take time to get good?

Now is the same, you have to practice and get good, not cheat the system for an advantage over 99% of the other users. The difference now though is you dont want to spend the time practicing you want that 6.0KD straight off.

Yeah years of playing throughout my child hood made me decent, Im mostly playing Fifa these day's very occasionally few hours of cod per couple of weeks, Just become pretty frustrated as I'm not half as good and seem to be picking it up slowly.. Doubt ill even get a XIM right now was just curious of the cost.. but in the future If I start playing more often I may purchase something available to allow me to use a M&KB like I prefer.. Each to their own I suppose.

Totally agree. Whoever does this has a massive advantage over people using a pad :mad:

I agree with that as well. These people who use a M&K combo on consoles only do it because they know it'll give them an advantage. But they'd probably be poor compared to people who use them on PC's.

It doesn't work that well, and I would not call it a massive advantage if any when you account for the aim assist. Even without aim assist on games like COD on PC you can do just fine with a pad and top the leaderboards if you are decent at the game. I think you can move better with a pad over kb/m it's just you aim suffers
