How do you leave these switched on.

Specifically, i need to change my plug setup, and leave my BT modem on when i am away for a few days (which i do every week)

I currently have a 4 multiplug (printer, desktop speakers, shredder, monitor) in wall socket A.

And my BT modem and desktop in wall socket B.

I now need to leave my BT modem on to operate a ring doorbell.

Is it safe to leave wallsocket B (modem and desktop) on for a few days while i am away, or should i plug the modem into socket B on its own and put the desktop into wall socket A instead of the shredder. This means the desktop in wall socket A 4 plug woukd be off fkr a couple of days a week, as well as when i go out for the evening when I'm at home.

If you don't trust your electronics enough to leave them turned off when you go out for the evening, then get an electrician to check your electrics and/or speak to your GP about potential OCD.
Its the multi plugs. I'm happy isolating the modem, but is it OK turning the desktop and 4 multi plug off, or is it safe leaving the modem and desktop via the multiplug on for 2 days

My dad used to turn off everything before bed and if we went on holiday in the months leading up to it we would empty the chest freezer and fridge so everything would be turned off!

Absolutely mad now but I guess electronics were all dodgy back then.

As a child you would know bed time was coming as you heard the sound of several plug sockets being switched off and plugs unplugged!
yes, its a bit of this lol
