I have a 2.5 160Gb 5400Rpm hard drive in my laptop.

A mate bought one of the 16gb PCMCIA drives for his laptop but it doesn't support it so he offered it to me.

1 - Can i use it as a boot drive. I know its not very big but it would let vista and my usual apps install.

2 - Would it be quicker than paying for a faster hard driver (7200rpm)

3 - Is there any point?

Thanks guys. Its an express card slot card and my Dell 1720 has one.

Ive yet to get my hands on it...the only thing is that its only 16Gb. Wish it was 32 then i could use it a my primary driver. I think ill just put vista on it and install everything else elsewhere.
