no one else has complained, and gay isnt worthy as an expletive. The word itself dosnt really have negative connotations.
Unless someone else who is actually gay comes foward and complains about peoples use of the word, which no one really has on this forum or life, then we should be able to use it how we wish.
Things always start to go a bit wrong when people start sticking up for other groups and saying they will find it offensive when they dont and shouldnt. Just look at winterville. (or whatever its called now)
i have gay friends and call things gay around them all the time, even say stuff like you cant talk youre gay. obviously in jest but they dont mind the word.
if you take being called gay as being offensive then surely it means you are a homophobe.
My generation grew up calling each other gay, it kind of takes the meaning of the word away, i call my mates gays infront of my gay friend - he grew up with everyone calling each other gay so is used to it.
