Far Cry 5 was a pain for stuff like this, forcing you into specific scenes every often as you progressed
The Half Life intro was truly revolutionary for its day though. It was all in game graphics, and set the game up for the actual story - both things that had never been done before (or at least not in a noticeable way). You’ve no idea just how jaw dropping the intro to Half Life was at the time!
The worst is if you get a delivery or something and you go to pause the current and it just skips itI also dislike too-easily-skippable FMV. Should be a hold-button-to-skip type thing.
Don' like accidentally skipping one.
I really hate these. What I hate even more is when you get an unskippable cutscene right before a boss fight, that when you die, you have to watch over and over again.

I also don't like it when an unskippable cut scene decides that even though you've been a badass for the last few levels and are killing everyone easily the story says you need to get knocked out or captured somehow. Because plot.
