Yep plenty of full servers on ONS, CTF and vCTG.

It’s 2026 and i’m mainly playing UT2004, BF1942, World Of Warcraft and just started a Morrowind (graphically modded) play through. I think that says a-lot to what I think to modern gaming.

Where'd you get 42? I'd like that!

There was always a few beasts who owned everyone with very few deaths but it was not too bad compared to Quake in my experience.

However I downlaoded it and whilst it works, it's not the original. I don't understand why devs re-create or bring back originals but then have all new sounds, maps and modifiers which make it worse.

I just want maps like Deck16, Morpheus, Phobos, Crane, Hyberblast, Face, Grinder, Gothic & Tempest.

It just makes me want to stick with playing the game in practice mode with bots on auto adjust skill.

Maybe it's changed but when I played it a year or two ago it was just UT99 but with changes to make it run on modern hardware and improved textures etc. All original maps and modes were there but some servers were running custom maps and modifiers but that used to be the case back in the day also.

Been away this week but might have to fire it up again when I'm home tomorrow
