UT3 Benchmarks

Played a few rounds on a 24 player vehicle ctf on the suspense map last night, got a near constant 80-90 fps 1920x1200, great looking game and played well for a beta demo.

It wasn't the most scientific of benchmarks, started Heat Ray and ran around killing bots for a minute, graphics settings were maximum for the demo @ 1920x1080 with default post-processing.

Very very nice. Not bad for the good ol' 7950GX2. :)

The last one has intense post-processing which doesn't affect FPS at all. Can't tell much difference though. Is AF automatically enabled by the way? Can't find an option.

PS. If anyone is annoyed by the large pics then let me know and I'll remove. :)

why 2 2600xt are beating a 8800gts640 in this game? is it driver issues?
my res is 1650x1060 and its about the fps as above but his res at 1280x1024

crossfire, max settings at 1650x1050, on Heat Ray map

Can you post what settings you use for the 7950GX2 SLI profile in nHance? Thanks. :)

I just added the name of the exe to the already existing Unreal Tournament 3 profile... all that profile has is SLI set to AFR with Compatibility Flags 2400001 (options 22 and 25) and OpenGL Flags ffff (all options from 00-15 ticked)

Might be because he's using AF.
 
Maybe because he's playing the game with some action going on instead of walking round an empty map, it makes a huge difference, my FPS is far lower than most people but I'm playing in 64-128 player servers.
 
My FPS dips in Shangri near the edge of the map on the outside section. Dunno how to view FPS though and I cba with FRAPS.

That's with a 2900XT and 3.2GHz C2D:eek:

lol i wasn't walking round an empty map. i was playing with bots with a lot of action...

Seems abnormally low mine doesnt go that low even with AA enabled to 4xAA.

Gaaaaaaaaaaay.

Mind I've lowered my CPU clock so them tests were done at 2.3 Ghz if that makes any difference.

Hmm I don't know what's going on, I got near the same results on XP and I'm on a fresh Vista with the newest betas. :/
 
Just fired up a game without AA

To get an idea of how much my machine could pump out (As online play is locked to 90FPS) I fired up a game with 15 bot's on Suspense. These are the results

Match offline with 15 bots on Suspense.

Min Max Avg
44 134 88.095

I then fired up an online game on Suspense 24 player map to see how it would affect my performance (bear in mind online is limited to 90FPS even after unlocking the 60FPS cap.

Min Max Avg
40 91 80.466

These were the results.

Tests ran with 8800GTX 3.6Ghz C2D 2GB Ram

All ran with 16xAF 1680x1050 everything maxed out.

As you can see when comparing to my AA results enabling AA has a big hit on performance Im hoping with DX10 it should be less of a hit.
