Utter moron manages to bring London W12 to a complete halt

I wondered why there was a helicopter circling above my house this morning.

Now I know :)

This area's where one of the failed July 21st bombs was, and where that guy almost got his arm lopped off with a meat cleaver, so perhaps a slightly insensitive place for that sort of 'art'?

I'm gonna go into a bank with a handgun and demand they hand over all the money. It's not a robbery, it's performance art.

You are.

More likely to be given freedom of the city, a £5,000 cheque and the Nobel prize for art, with 3 million of lottery money thrown in for a laugh.

Sounds about rite!... with our screwed up justice system!!...

How did they look like bombs is what id like to know as according to the link she was a crap artist. :p

Cue Arthur Bostrom "Asshat artist..." :D

Name and shame the embarassing excuse for a human being.

This is one of several reasons artists should be hung and drawn on sight.

Before everyone starts planning her execution, is there any clarification available on whether the works of "art" were deliberately made to look like bombs, or if they were merely mistaken for bombs? The only think I got from the link was that they were deemed to be "suspicious packages", something that can range from a box with "bomb" written on it to an empty packet of crisps...

That doesn't really matter. They were suspicious enough to get the police to close roads and investigate the matter. She placed them intentionally, ergo she is at fault.

she should have to pay for the cost incurred by all of the emergency services - people should not have to pay for this out of their taxes. then after she has paid for it, she should be shot in the kneecaps.

what a ****.

I agree that she is at fault; I'm just saying that branding her a terrorist etc is a little over the top if her "art" wasn't meant to cause such controversy.

A) She's a performance artist so she was intending to cause a stir

B) They had nails sticking out of them so yes, they were meant to look like nail bombs.

Fair enough then, burn her effigy at will...

I thought most performance artists set out to cause a controversy. The more people they can offend the better. Is'nt that what gives them the publicity that they are after?
Think of how much media coverage this will get.

Blimey, reading that article it doesnt say what action she could face, but thats sheer stupidity that, I wonder if she intended to cause that much trouble or if she genuinley didnt realise.
