V for Vendetta - Out 17th March. Thats tomorrow!

Yup, off to see it tomorrow - can't wait. Not too sure about Natalie with a bald head, but still :(

I saw an interview where Alan Moore said he wants nothing to do with it, so it may not have the same message/feel as the graphic novel. After his experiences with his other works that Hollywood buchered I do not blame him.

Johnathan Ross slated it on film 2006 this week :( .....however I think it looks good and I'm still planning to going and see it! :D

I was all for going to see this one.
I saw some early trailers and then of course the more recent longer ones.
The problem - I am yet to read one good review on it.
In fact I'm yet to read any review that hasn't said this is a complete waste of time, save your money, don't even think about taking a look at this one.

So I'm going to wait and once I see even a small glimmer of hope I might decide to check it out.

i was excited about this

but all i've heard is negative reviews

literally just got back from subway where they had a the local radio playing and they were doing a review while i was eating, they said how bad it was as well :/

shame

Different people have different tastes dosnt mean you might not like it if you watched it. :)

Just got back from watching it.

Here are some reviews. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808632423/critic

Some mixed criticism.

I thought the movie was fantastic. I absolutely loved it. Dont want to give anything away as I think that would spoil the movie and well the trailers dont even do it justice. Theres soo much in there to see.

Its definetely one to go watch in the cinema. I wouldnt wait for it to come out on dvd. Worth the fiver your gonna pay especially with that cinema atmosphere. It adds something incredible to the film.

And the soundtrack was simply stunning. Not to sound sad but the music along with certain seens almost had me in tears. I guess the strings or orchestral kinda music gets to me especially with that kind of power.

Please go watch it.

Well I'm definately going to see it, regardless of what the critics say. It's not unusual for me to disagree with reviews of a film anyway, so I'd rather make my own mind up :).

Saw V this afternoon, it was totally awesome. Proved much more exciting than sitting in uni and doing work!
I knew nothing of the storyline and all I had seen about it was a large scale explosion... :D Thought it was very equilibrium-ish, but better.

I don't really have much negative points about it, if any to be honest. Seemed to drag for a little bit in the middle but wasn't really a big deal.

Recommended!

Been looking forward to it since last year, definitely going to go see it when i get chance. Most reviews i've seen have been a little negative, but IGN have given it 4.5/5. IGN usually aren't too bad when reviewing films either.

Negative reviews?

3 stars in Total Film and 4 in Empire are not "negative reviews".

Although to be honest, it DOES look like a steaming pile of crap from what i have seen and read about it.
