Valentine's Day

Marks & Spencer have a good deal on for a Valentine's meal. £20 for starter, main, side, dessert, a rose or chocolates and a bottle of wine.

I went for some decent steak and some chunky mother chips with some chocolate mousse things for dessert.

Not sure what we'll do the rest of the day, but it'll probably involve going to some nearby soulless National Trust location for a walk.

I hate labels, hate its there to make money from people.

If/when I have a gf, i treat her nice because i love her, not because a date on the calendar. This all seems forced, and tedious and unimaginative.

When the time comes though, you had better damn well do something, lest you be consigned to the doghouse after she's been to work and heard of all the wonderful things that her colleagues/friends have been given/had done for them.

But yes, I agree with what you say. If I want to treat my wife, why do I have to follow some manufactured date of profiteering gayness? It does suck.

I can say valentines has been a expensive one this year, having two valentines is the reason for this lol. One is working tonight so she said to do it monday and the other one is working today but is coming round mine at night for pizza and movie

then tomorrows date will be dinner and cinema

Yesterday was awsome, i brought her a rose, also a star

, as a novelty gift, which she loved, we will see it once this bloody weather gets better, she then treated me to a candle lit dinner in the sitting room, all dress up, it was like being in the resturant lol. then we headed to the bedroom ............... happy days

had a good day yesterday - usually don't do valentines day, but got made a fantastic 3 course dinner, I got her a pair of sunglasses she wanted (for a while) and she completely surprised me with 2 tickets to the Gadget Show!
