I'm quite suprised there isn't already a thread about this (at least, not one I can find). It's due for release in June, having been delayed 7 months. If the reviews are postive, this will be a definate purchase for me.

"Vampyr is an action rpg played from a 3rd person perspective. The player controls the game's protagonist Jonathan E. Reid, a doctor who was made into a vampire, and whose thirst for blood compels him to kill innocent people. To do this successfully, he must gather information about his targets—study and change their habits, collect clues, and maintain certain relationships by communicating with the sixty inhabitants of London, which serves as a fictionalised semi-open world built around hubs of seamless neighbourhoods tethered to other interlinking areas"

Yeah I fancy it. £22.99 on CD Keys just now to pre-order. Will be pulling the trigger on it shortly...

Edit: Just bought it and Agony too. Car passed the MOT with no work required so had a bit of spare cash!

Its one that I have an eye on, but I've read a few things which have meant that I will have to wait and see some reviews after release before I decide whether to purchase or not

Just found out about this game, be keeping a watch on it. The trailers looks interesting, but not sure if it is my type of game though. Hopefully it be coming bit more information about it.

Had my eye on this for a long time now. It looks like something I would enjoy, but will wait until reviews come out. If it gets good reviews will wait for all the bugs to be fixed at which point the price will have dropped so I can pick it up for a tenner or so :)

Excuse my ignorance, but what does that mean? Gone gold?
It used to mean the master disc had been sent off for duplication. The medium used to create the master disc would have been a recordable CD & years ago most recordable discs had a gold film on them, hence the term.

Edit: Damn, beaten to it :P

There doesn’t seem to be much excitement for this, kind of baffled as it looks pretty good to me. Only a couple of days left until release on the 5th. I’m waiting for reviews before spending any money on it, but from what I’ve seen of it I think they should be good.

I already bought it, it will arrive on monday, but it comes out on my birthday tuesday, nice present dontnod :p

Really looking forward to it, the setting of victorian london is always appealing for me, and Bloodlines made me like vampire lore.

Same here - on the basis that I've enjoyed every vampire game I've played (Bloodlines, Bloodrayne, Castlevania Lords of Shadow), I took a chance on the great pre-order price of £22.99 on CDKeys a few weeks back. It's £24.99 on CDKeys just now for any gamblers out there - it's likely to go back up to close to £40 on release day...

I do this sometimes :)

When the price is much cheaper there and I really want to play from day 1, worth the gamble. But in most cases I prefer to wait a few month for bugs to be fixed and get it cheaper then.

Had my eye on this for a while and I'll be waiting for some reviews from trusted sources before buying. Looks good from what gameplay I've seen so far.

: Yes, the game supports 21:9 on PC. With black borders on cinematics and menus.

Well that's a good start, but waiting for reviews before I plunge my teeth into this .... sorry !!!
