i'd love to give this ago, I have a few of the space marine models and some infinity but I struggle to get to grips with the rules!

Well you're welcome to try and step in with the Space Marine army if you want. Send me an email (in trust) with your email address and I can add you to the dropbox so you can take a look. It's all for fun so there's no pressure to win, we have a wide range of skill levels. It's all about having some fun and killing whatever terminators John brings.

If he does join, I'm all for letting him do the SM army how he wants rather than letting him use the mashed together one.

If it makes you feel any better Diplex, I've had about 4/5 games now and still forget half the rules as well as forgetting what my To hit/Wound is lol.

Sorry Dan, no terminators at the moment (maybe at 2k points I will be adventurous with a Land raider). Rules? you don't need to know them as Dan knows them all.

My brother in-law helps run a warhammer group in the midlands and always encourages me to get this army and that army but I have to tell him I don't even know how to play! I only ever played one game with him playing as Dark Angels against some nids but obviously one game isn't going to help me xD.

i'll admit im abit overwhelmed with just the idea lol I wouldn't even know where to start with the army building. I'll install and sort out vassal in the morning and go from there.

Well the list is in the dropbox (I would allow you to remake it but it might not be fair on Woogie and besides I made it so it's a pretty good list
