I had vegan sausage as part of my dinner and it was absolutely awful. Texture was odd, tastes rubbery/plasticy.

0/10 never again, whats all the rage with vegan products lately GD?

Brand was tofuturky.

Try some of the things in Tesco can’t remember the name but ‘fake’ steaks and burgers are alright.

Don’t expect meat though, that’s disingenuous to yourself.

wife made me a sausage butty the other week, let me eat it then told me it was vegan,

after she recovered from the swift punch to the throat and the foot firmly being wedged in her lady garden i had to admit it was actually rather tasty.

made me less of a man and i'll never feel manly again but it was darn tasty :D:D:D:D

Hecks pretty good. Quorn selectively goes from great to terrible. Linda McCartney is generally trash all round unfortunately

Tescos are also doing stuff with jackfruit now which is very good especially if your counting calories.

Its currently “in” with the hipsters so expect to see (and hear about it over and over just like veganasim itself) for a while yet!

It’s not just ‘in’ it’s paramount to the survival of our way of life, Veganism as a lifestyle is sad and typically stereotypical of idiots (doing it socially is stupid), but it may very well be the only option a hundred years from now if not sooner.

Different strokes, I find the Linda McCartney sausages the best of the bunch and the closest to meat sausages.

I'll have to try the heck ones next time I spot them.

Jackfruit is unreal. It really is the best meat substitute ever.

I'm full on carnivore, but would like to cut back a bit on the meat I eat mainly because it is healthy to do so.

Jackfruit makes that possible. I make a mean curry with it.
