velociRaptor raid0 speeds?

Hi guys I'm sure some of you must be running these drives in raid0 could you tell me what speeds you are getting?

HDTune/HDTach screenies would be interesting to see if you have any.

I intended to go to SSDs next year if the price is right but am thinking about this option too.

Your initial impresions of the drives etc would be good, boot times and the like :)

I had 2 x 150GBs Velociraptors in RAID0 and got in HDTach Average reads of 211MB/s, Access time, 7ms, in Atto for 32KB - 8192KB file size, Reads of up 245MB/s and Writes of up to 230MB/s...
 
This is my boot drive, not bad for £30 ;) Haven't timed how quick it boots W7 but its definitely under 60 seconds, it's mainly the access time where the benefit is, not quite as fast as a velociraptor but better than standard 7200RPM

haha no way thats 4 raptors in raid 0

2 80gig intel SSDs in raid 0 maybe ;)

How much do you want to bet on that? If you're on about size, that's just windows partition. there is 2 more for "games" and "download"

Impressive speeds then ;) i can only spare 2 drives for raid myself. im actually looking at 2 500gb western digital green drives which should outperform my raptors and give much more space than SSDs
