I may have to have a road trip up to Overclockers if they get this and a King on display long way to travel for me but probably the only way to know for sure what is best for me
Chug - Bit of topic but is this the only new chair from Vertagear coming out around now or will there be others?
There were 2 QC issues I am aware of (of which wasn't technically an issue) : -
SL-4000 - Some of the chair holes were difficult to align and screw in, this was sorted and should not be an issue on any stock we've had since November.
SL-5000 - Several people mistakenly thought that the base was faulty as the gas lift went quite far through the base. This is actually by design to allow the SL-5000 (and the other models now) to appeal to a wider range of heights than they did previously.
I am not aware of any other issues.
Will these be in the showroom when they are in stock? Need to test one with my own backside before making this kind of investment in a chair, they do look very promising though.
ChugNorris what height are you?.
Really want to hear the review on this, there are none anywhere and debating this or the King DX whatever majig.
Gonna be a week or two before reviews go live, however for me, I think the PL-6000 is superior to the DXRacer King, considering they cost the same.
Thanks mate, can I ask you honestly why you think the PL6000 is superior to the DXRacing King? Just out of curiosity as most reviews seemed to think DXRacer was the best thing since sliced bread when it came out.
Thanks
Well, I'd say the quality of materials are the same, if not better, added to that, you've got a better chair tilt mechanism, a stronger gas lift, a bigger seat base and backrest, bigger & better wheels (they look awesome) plus I prefer how it looks. DXRacer chairs are good, don't get me wrong, but the Vertagear PL-6000 just offers more for the same price.
Have you got one in the showroom yet?
