** VERTAGEAR PL-6000 GAMING CHAIRS - BIGGER IS BETTER **

Will these be in the showroom when they are in stock? Need to test one with my own backside before making this kind of investment in a chair, they do look very promising though.

I bought an SL-4000 in the last couple of weeks from OCUK, and some of the black rings that go over the screw holes had fell off, just leaving a bare hole / rip

Quality wasn't great if i'm honest, and my wife was aggrieved to have spent this much on something she thought didn't look great quality

however, the thought of having to arrange a pick up and return on such a huge item made me just suck it up and keep it.

Also, the screw hole issue you mentioned above was definitely a problem on mine, it took us ages to get the last couple of screws in and the angle on them didn't seem quite straight

Personally, i like the chair but as someone who has big thighs, its definitely too narrow for me, the outside of my thighs are actually bruised after using for a few hours - i'll probably try and sell this one, and grab the new 6000 series, if the quality has improved
 
That is the problem with a thing like a chair, it's not like a GPU or whatever that you can just put back in its box it would be a real test of patience just getting it apart let alone back in its box
 
I'm sat on one now. Honestly it's brilliant. Loads of space, extremely sturdy, very comfortable, fairly easy to put together plus the gas lift and tilt mechanism feel like they will easily support the weight they say they will. It looks the business too! The fact you can lock the tilt and adjust the tension of the backrest movement is a big bonus. I'm going to need to spend more time sitting on one before I can give a definitive opinion but it's already feeling better than the SL-2000.

We currently have Black and Black/White in stock, with the other colours landing on Wednesday. Expect to see reviews in the coming weeks, but it gets Chug's coveted seal of approval.

Really want to hear the review on this, there are none anywhere and debating this or the King DX whatever majig.

Gonna be a week or two before reviews go live, however for me, I think the PL-6000 is superior to the DXRacer King, considering they cost the same.

Thanks mate, can I ask you honestly why you think the PL6000 is superior to the DXRacing King? Just out of curiosity as most reviews seemed to think DXRacer was the best thing since sliced bread when it came out.

Well, I'd say the quality of materials are the same, if not better, added to that, you've got a better chair tilt mechanism, a stronger gas lift, a bigger seat base and backrest, bigger & better wheels (they look awesome) plus I prefer how it looks. DXRacer chairs are good, don't get me wrong, but the Vertagear PL-6000 just offers more for the same price.

Thank you for the quick reply, I think I missed next day delivery today so I think I'll order it tomorrow... + I'm getting a 503 error on the chair's page haha; ok it seems to be working again :D
