So I just slammed a new Windows 7 64 bit install on this 120GB SSD drive booted straight into Windows no bother but was showing 75GB free of 111GB. My Windows install directory is about 11.5GB & the other drivers & apps I've installed take up about another GB but that means I seem to have lost about 19GB somewhere. I did a disk cleanup and got about 500Mb back 400Mb of which was in Windows Memory dump error files.
Anybody got any idea what might have happened first time working with an SSD, I got an exception error at the end of the Windows install but all seemed fine after a reboot & system is running sweet as a nut apart from said drive issue.
I understand that the drive capacity dropped from 120 to 111 after formatting but being left with 75 available after the fresh install but that still leaves 19 missing after the 11.5 for Windows & 1 for my drivers & apps.
Thx in advance...
