Vieira Signs New 3 Year Deal At Arsenal

Can't understand the excitement Jazz, if you KNEW ;) he was
staying 100% anyway ;) and Pires is definately signing too ;)
in about 4 weeks ;)

I can't understand why Wiltord is on such low money. He was
easily one of Arsenals best players last season.

Arsenal trying to sign all their old boys, they'll need them if
they are gonna fend off Everton for 5th or 6th place this coming
season ;)
 
a lot of winking in that message heh. i was very confident he would stay, i was so happy coz it has dragged on for so long.

wiltord went missing for 75% of last season, he should be sent back to france and should never be allowed to return.....

Dont know where we will finish next season just yet, ill tell u in aug where i think we will finish. at the moment we will finish 2nd or even 3rd, if we get a new centre back, goalkeeper and striker then we can take the title back.
 
Didn't know that about Wiltord. Everytime I saw them play
he was generally up front with Henry. I couldn't have watched
them that much then, you'd like to see him gone then.

Any reason for his awol ?
 
Out of all the big teams, Man U are yet to find a Beckham replacement, Ronaldinhio is not looking likely, that leaves Belion & that mjamba X 2 bloke :)

God forbid if RVH has an injury, what can I say Man U will be in the ****. Am VERY surprised Ferguson hasn't made serious efforts to sign the likes of Makaay or even Kluivert, because we all know how injurys can come and go, if RVH was to suffer the same knee injury he had a few seaons back then his whole season is ruined and with it will be Man U's season.

Arsenal only need an established goalkeeper & centre back and they are as good as new, will defo be there challanging for the league.

he is just so damn inconsistant, i cant explain it. look at veron u know he has the talent but he doesnt perform in the league the same applied for wiltord last season

we urgently need a new centre back and goalkeeper like JDK said, get rid of wiltord and sort out those 2 positions. if we can afford it get kluivert so he can play right upfront as our tap in man, we made so many chances but failed to take them, another reason for us screwing up last season
 
Man U have made a definate bid for Makaay, though so have
Bayern Munich. I guess they'll move quickly once this deal with
Ronaldinho falls through, which I think it will now, its doomed.

Good as he is we just don't need him in our midfield. With
Becks gone now, it gives Ole a chance to claim a regular position
down the right wing. So we can play Giggs/Veron/Keane/Ole
with either Scholes or (future striker) up front.

Your right though, if heaven forbid Ruud got injured we could
struggle for goals. Thats why I've always said it has to be
Makaay. He's a goal machine just like Ruud.

It would be bad news for Kluivert to I think Ruud and Roy up
front for Man U cause I thinked if they really gelled and posted
huge numbers of goals together Kluivert would quickly replaced
by Holland for Makaay.
 
i hear bayern munich are close to signing makaay as they will pay close to how much deportivo.

great news about Vieria, now all we need to do is sort Bergkamps contract for another season...he's said hes willing to take a cut of £20k just to stay at Highbury...so come on, give the man the same respect hes given us over the years and offer him an extension!

lmao :D But he would score more goals there ;) Also bayern munich are quite a team in europe, they werent last season but they usually always at least get to the QF which is decent

It is pretty gobsmacking of Arsenal not to snap up Berkamp for
another season especially as he'd take a £20k pay cut.

Seems like the only loyalty at highbury is from the players.

What happened to the roumers that Beckham would play all next season for free to keep his place at Man U? They were short lived.

man these stinking news papers have sunk to an all time low, ill never believe them again. FFS even arsenal.com put in on their website he had signed. Like someone on an arsenal forum said,

It's almost like the head honchos at Arsenal are teaching us a lesson - do NOT believe the tabloids.

i cant believe how far this rumour got. it was on arsenals official site that he had signed. on the arsenal forums we were like wtf why has no one reported it, i thought prolly coz its sat night

this is a horrible way to start a monday off, im collecting my exam results later on today as well so maybe this is a sign of more bad things to happen today :eek: :( :(
