according to some tabloids ive seen today real madrid are after patrick viera!

they hope to make a dream quartet in midfield!

if they get him then :eek:

but i cant see it happeneing tbh but u never know!
 
Everytime he is linked to clubs he has rubbished them. i think he is getting tired of it as well, he wants to stay, these rumours dont bother me like they used to, im confident he will stay.

However if he doesnt sign then yes he will go to Real madrid, he definitely wont go to man utd even if they offer a lot more than Real madrid

As a Liverpool supporter I would feel bad if a great player like Viera left the english prem, the same is also true for Henry. However Beckham leaving was nothing much to me as I don't regard Beckham as good as any of these players, Beckham is all hype and not much skill, but his free kicks and crossing were nice :D

Doubt Viera will leave, but things would be interesting next summer if Wenger takes the Real job then am pretty sure the likes of Pires, Viera & Henry would all like to follow him, so Arsenal certainly have to achieve something bit this year if all of them are to stay.
 
Can't see it happening. Although Vieira still hasn't signed that new contract. Arsenal might just have to sell him.

Still, I think Vieira, like Henry, will stay loyal and try to carry on the successes for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.
 
Our french players are very loyal to wenger like my fellow gooner hinchy.

Wenger would stay at arsenal if we could get the ashburton project proper up running by next yr. He has built this whole team almost by himself if we look at it now. Most of the old players are gone or about to leave.

At Real he wouldnt have the freedom to do what he wants with the club like at arsenal. Del bosque didnt sign beckham, valdano and perez did the deal. This wouldnt suit wenger who likes to be in control of EVERYTHING. at arsenal even small things are under wengers control. He will only walk away from it if real give him insane amounts of money or if he feels the club wont get bigger due to financial restrictions.

i think he's on par with murphy who's pretty average too, dyer is a very good player when he bothers to play and far better than either of them.
If you want parlour in your england team who are you going to drop gerrard, scholes, beckham? or put parlour on the left. Parlour is old, at least a player like dyer, haargreeves and joe cole have good potential for the future and play more regularly.
To sum it up parlour is crap, there are far better central midfield players for englnad and arsenal should have sold him to sunderland when they had the chance.

He's going to Leeds now though isn't he? He was going to be sold to someone else, but Peter Reid wants Parlour too, so Wenger is supposed to be considering offering Parlour and money in an effort to prize Harry Kewell away from them.
