I was in the same position with a buyer so i got the 2245wm instead , very pleased
I was interested in the 22" but I doubt I'll see much difference coming from the Viewsonic 19" VP191b in terms of size. Think I'll get rid of my TV once I get this, more space lol.

28"er on the wall sweet
Aye that will be nice, think i'll be doing the same with the 24"er, if the 28" is cheap enough £600ish I'll probally buy that instead.

I want, i want, i want.

i hope the predicted prices are correct - 450 quid for 28" and 600 for 28".

dell are too expensive, about time they had some proper competition.

Does it look like these models will be covered by the Viewsonic 0 dead pixel guarantee?

**ignore me, looks like thats the VP range**

Nope but if I get one with any dead pixels, it will go back under distant sellers act. . .

If they come out at £450 or less for a 24" i will sell my 22" or at least give it to a member of my family and then buy one of those with hdmi input :)

hope they change the stand design, much as i love my vx2025 the stand takes up to much room on my desk

Just looked at the dimensions. Is the height on the 24" adjustable? I have a corner desk with a shelf over the monitor and it's just a few mm too high.

I always wondered why they are allowed to supply a faulty good, under the Sales of goods Act. I was reading a textbook as part of my course yesterday and it clearly states that "goods should be fit for their purpose for which they are sold and must be of satisfactory quality. It is not a defence for the manufactuer to claim that reasonable care was taken in their design or production"

So if they state in their contract towards the consumer that they are not liable for dead pixels because A and B then this must be allowed by Unfair Contract Terms Act 1997 as being reasonable.

You think is reasonable a 1000 pound monitor to have a defect? No, I dont think it is.

Maybe courts think it is, or no one ever claimed anything. Same story as with paying tax were you shouldnt (US)

In the next 4/5 months i`ll be looking for a top high end 24"/28" LCD monitor that has full, 1:1 Pixel Mapping and fully supports HD (1080p)+HDMI Interface to go with my new system i`ll be also geting at the same time and hopefully these will give Benq`s a kick in the but...
