Vikings Valhalla (Netflix)

It went downhill when Ragnar started going doolally. I never got around the finishing it as the other characters bar perhaps Bjorn and Uber didn't really interest me.

Pretty much, clear quality drop when the sons led the show, everyone fawns over Ivar but find him such a 2D poorly written caricature of a villain. I want to finish at some point though as i'm 3 episodes into the final season and if i've got this far... :D

Floki going off on his Viking gap year with Edge from WWE didn't help either :D.

I loved the show up until the snake pit - then I just lost all interest and stopped watching it.

It was brilliant up until that point though

For a lot of the show I had the opinion that it was way better than it deserved to be whilst being some little History channel show. But I was hooked after a few episodes.

Just what the English thought 1200 years ago, “More bloody Vikings!”

Fun fact: the word "ransack" comes from old norse ransakkr which simply means "house search" but you can imagine what the English thought when they woke up to bunch of hairy vikings descending on their houses yelling "ransakkr!"

"Oh god they've come to ransack the place again!"

Considering how poor the last few seasons of Vikings were, not too sure about this.

Bah. Just make more Last Kingdom, much better show (yes I know they're making some made-for-tv movies to tidy up the last books, but still)

A few people have recommended Last Kingdom to me, however Vikings has burnt me out on that part of history and can't stomach another Viking/Saxon show atm :D

As much as I dislike what Vikings has become, i still hold S2 up as one of the best seasons of any show i've ever seen, just brilliantly written characters and events throughout.
