Vindaloo

My cheeky home brew stout is getting me through it.

I have pins and needles in my face now though.

Don't see the point in stupidly spicy food. Why ruin a perfectly tasty meal. I mean you can't even taste the food after 2 minutes.

(I'm not jealous that I can't hack the pain atall).....

Same here. If someone wants pain and food, they'd be better off eating tasty food and rubbing Deep Heat on their bell end or something. That way they'll get plenty of pain and they'll taste the food.

If I'm eating Indian-style food, I tend to go for rogan josh or bhuna.

I do like a lot of strong mustard on some foods, though.

Yeah but its all down to levels and what you are used to. I need something much hotter than a vindaloo to hit my heat levels and release the endorphins but I can still taste the food.

You build it up over time like a coke addict, every time you need slightly more (hotter) to get the same result.

So what might be just nice and hot to me might blow your head off and put you into agony.

Oh Christ I think my face is going to fall off.

The lamb tastes so good but I'm punished every time I take a bite.

I'm gonna keep going.

When I first got into trying out spicey food and went for a vindaloo I was drinking a pint of water per mouthful... you quickly build up a resistance however, few more vindaloos and you will start to think it's pretty mild. Shame, I liked the first one the best :(

This is allways me.

Hottest Ive eaten was a Tindaloo and I think I could do more..

But, a Korma is just soo damned tasty!!

Try something that is spicy, but not necessarily hot. Like a Korai/Karahi/However the restaurant chooses to spell it, especially if you're a fan of tomatoes and peppers. Maybe try Dupiaza/Dopiaza if you're an onion lover.

Almost back to normal now.

That was pretty good. The current batch of home brew is rocking too.

Win.
