virgin Atlantic lets male pilots and crew wear skirts to 'express their true identity'

By the way, be sure next time to be specific about what you hate and for what reasons. Be brave I am sure society will understand.

Since I already made it clear, I'll have to belabour the point for you.

I dislike totalitarianism.

I dislike irrational prejudice.

The reasons are as follows:

I think that totalitarianism is an unreasonable way to run a society. While it might theoretically work well enough if run by a dictator or oligarchy of superhuman wisdom and benevolence, that's not an option in reality.

I think that irrational prejudice is unfair. It's that simple. I also think that it's an inefficient way to run a society.

Which part of that don't you understand?

Yeah, why not? Let's all bring our fetishes to work.
Yaaaaas. Slay queen (autocomplete initially replaced my y with a g, amaze).

Don't roll around in a gimp suit in the street though  (unless it's a pride parade, then it's cool beans :)).

As for “woke” ban the word I say.
Yes yes yes. This is definitely tolerant progress! Bash the fash, be on the right side of history, orange man bad, war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength.

In more sane discussion points, if any company wants to let aircrew wear what they want, within the law, cool, whatever, it's their right. It's also someone's right to express their distaste and then vote with their wallets. Tale as old as time. Speaking of which, I must check how Disney stock is doing.

Not acceptable to be a gimp but apparently acceptable to kill a rabbit and nail it to your ex's door.

Everyone who’s never done it says that :D

Honestly I disagree. I'm not the tallest person but not the shortest at just over 1.9m and I've flown for work more in the past 3 years than most people. Yes then I get the better seats, but when I'm paying for it myself I really don't care, I just hunker down and get on with it.*

*saying that I use all the free lounges a lot and maybe the typical alcohol consumption explains why I don't care haha.

I don't consider £100 per hour to sit in a bigger seat on a aeroplane good value for money, there's plenty of things I'd spend £1500 on, a plane ticket just isn't one of them.

It's very much a personal thing - if I'm going on holiday then I'm happy to spend a bit more and make the airport/flight experience part of that and actually enjoyable rather than dreading the cramped seat for however many hours. Yes, you get to the same place at the same time as everyone else in the same metal tube, but I enjoy it.

Luckily everyone has a choice, but I'd still recommend trying it once in your life whatever county you come from...

If you fancy a read of how I got into it all, I wrote an article for a travel blog in an attempt to win a competition. I came third in the end...
