Virgin for gaming

it depends where you live. In South Manchester, an unresolved line fault had me raging for a year before I switched from VM to BT.

That's exactly the experience I had in Tamworth, yet my brother had VM for over ten years in Aldridge and he never had a single problem in all that time.

I moved to Sky fibre in the end and I haven't had a single issue in over a year.

60mbit in East London and its rubbish - loads of Jitter between 20ms and 100ms no good for FPSing. I still play but it drives me nuts.

If its good its great if its bad.. Dont go there ADSL is better if u can get fttc.

they are still upgrading this area (old C and W ) but every engineer i spoken to said its one of the biggest cluster **** bodge jobs they have ever seen

Its so frustrating being 15 miles away from central London but having a woeful connection with no sign of FTTC...

not actually bothered too much anymore ive given up hope :)

Im in SW london - virgin isnt that good here either - its decent but not that great ... only choices are what BT or virgin and Ive heard not so good things about BT also.

I'm on a 60mb VM connection and it's great for gaming and downloads.

Super hub wifi is utterly shocking though! Had to cough up for a separate router and run the hub in modem mode.
