Who are the management of blueyonder ? Msybe we can find the co-founder of blueyonder to buy out VM and go back to Blueyonder again.
Don't think VM won't be interesting hearing this. They only do for themselves not the customers want. I doubt it will happen.
It looks like they may be bringing back GameFiles http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com/ - Work in progress by the looks of it.
Not sure about they have a steam content server in the works though, or even the possibility of having one based on their crazy management.

Hi the only update I can give you about this is that we are pursuing this idea with Steam at the moment but we don't have any other news right now. As soon as we have some I'll post it to the forum, but that could be some months away at this point.

Problem is that a big and fast enough server might well cost more to power than the bandwidth it would save. I'm not sure precisely, as it would depend on how much bandwidth steam downloads consume on the network.
