VirtualDubMod Codec Plugins?

Hi,

Just wondering if I can download codecs as plugins for VirtualDubMod rather than installing them to my computer?

I use VLC so I don't particularly want to install something like ffdshow just so VirtualDubMod can use the codecs.

Any ideas?

nope

what do you want to encode into? most likely need an ac3 decoder and xvid encoder

ffdshow is damn clean by the way

Was just looking for a nice set of plugins to encode into a range of files - WMV, xvid, divx etc.

I'll check out ffdshow

Just gave ffdshow a go and it's not showing up in the compression options of VirtualDubMod :confused:
