Vista. Better than XP?

XP on 64Mb Yewen? Source or not, that would not be of use to anyone. I couldn't put up with that. I had 256 with 98SE?

I don't know how young you are, but XP came after 2K and by that point there were thousands of 512+ and smp rigs...

Your having a laugh. :p

XP is fine with 128mb, although 64 is a little on the low side. There could have been thousdands of rigs with 512 RAM but they'd be millions with less, hence he said average.

What I Dont like with vista and xp, and most mainstream OS is apparently (according to my head programmer software devoloper mate) they all have US goverment back doors in so they can if they wish see exactly what your doing.

Linux does not, and when its up2 scratch, ill be going open source, much more secure, pitty they dont have it quite up 2 the userbility level of windows systems

I guess macs are a half way house, generally more secure but prob still have goverment back doors in them

What you are talking about is not something I belive. However, its required by law that ALL ISP's keep ALL data each customer dowloads/uploads (not sure for how long) and have them readily accessible by goverment officials if they are asked to do so. This is the law atleast here in the UK.

Therefore, "what we are doing" is beyoand the scope of OS I think.

this is all very good, but if you have a slight knowledge of just what highly advanced data technologys western or few western goverments hold, then having access to everyones pc on earth is small potatos. Think what they can do now, its probably far beyond what we can imagine

very true .. I always belived that hollywood ideas come from NASA, FBI and the likes for movies with high tech stuff. :D Simply cause what I watch on movies happens in the next few years :p

ps: We might get a barcode like hitman soon for "Quality services" :P HahAH
