What services/regedit changes do you recommend as there seems to be conflicting statements about what to disable.

I'm not interested in super duper performance, just good solid reliable performance.

So far I've just disabled the "Superfetch" service and disabled indexing and defragging on the SSD, which is what some sites seem to recommend. But others then seem to go further? eg: What about "Prefetcher" or "ReadyBoost"? Anything else? eg: Disabling swapfile?

So I'd appreciate comments from other Vista owner running on an SSD.

ps: Running a Crucial M4 as OS drive.

I have an Intel X25-M purely because of the Toolbox software.

The only settings altered is what the Toolbox offered to do, which is turning off said features.

Edit: Stop calling your SSD a Corsair. It's a Crucial :)

Thanks...

I wonder what "Feature is optimized" means? Turned off!?

Can I run that toolbox on my system?

Looking at help file it disables said feature. No idea if Toolbox would work on non-Intel SSD's.

Images must no wider than 1024 pixels wide!
I was promoting larger monitor sales ;) Picture resized.
