So, in case anyone cares, you can now use your own router/modem with Vodafone.
Apparently the device needs to be on an approved list - however nobody thus far who has requested their PPoE details has found that an issue.

Post above from yesterday - you didn't need to kick up any kind of fuss, this has been in place since Monday - so you simply requested your details and were given them.

I did kick up a fuss as my CCTV wouldn't co-operate with their gear. I got them from the Ops manager of one of their call centres as their staff kept refusing. This has been ongoing for weeks.

If they have changed policy though then that is a good thing and a coincidence although nobody has asked me anything about what equipment i use

But i'm still swapping back to BT
