Vodafone Smart Ultra 6

Well ive picked up one today, bought an unlock code from the bay for £3.25 and still waiting for any sort of message, how long do they usually take, when i did the Moto G i had a code within 30 mins.
 
I just unlocked mine and cut my 3 sim down to for but its telling me I'm on EE!? And when I search for networks I get o2 and EE...??
 
Are you in a signal area for three? There's a fairly hard to explain technical reason why what you're seeing can be OK but it would typically trigger when the SIM hasn't seen the three network in your device. Can you try it at work or anything?
 
I only unlocked it about half eight and am at home. It will coming out with tomorrow but I normally get signal a decent 3g signal at home (no 4g where I live) and I have never seen it do this when I was using my moto g
 
There is a small 13mb update out today for this.

Security fix.

Looks like it to fix the Stagefright bug as testing with the app now show's the phone to be safe.

Yep just got a notification too. Quite impressed that we are deemed worthy of such a quick fix if confirmed.

Absolutely loving this phone! :cool:
 
Just did the 13mb update and can't now change the network mode......If I select any radio button it just says 4G,3G,2G Auto (the top one)?

Anybody else have this issue? It was working fine.

Haven't got this issue on mine, I can select any of them
 
Picked one of these up today. Installed SwiftKey and uninstalled the Vodafone apps. Wow what a lot of phone for the money. I love the fact it's big but really light.Compared the screen to an iPhone 6 plus and iPhone 6 this isn't far off.
 
Got a question for you guys, do your ultra 6's get hot while charging, or when browsing, both times the hotness seems to be in the top region of the phone near the camera, which seems odd when chsrging .
