I'm back baby!
I've enjoyed premium (proper premium not crap with a label) vodka for a long time, but only when out in decent bars.

My collection is so far pretty modest, and I've identified most of what I want. Missed anything?

Have:

Grey Goose
Belvedere
Stolichnaya
Smirnoff Black (Copper Pot Still)
Absolut
Blavod

Want:

Finlandia
Chopin
Armadale (Scottish vodka!)
Zyr
Boru
Effen

Go on, whats your favourite and why?

I don't want anything on the level of Smirnoff. I believe the one I have is by far the best Smirnoff, and the Blavod I won in a raffle.

Grey goose is awful french stuff. For good french stuff, Jean-Marc XO is a good start. Quite oily, but not bad cold.

My favourite per buck has to be Stoli Gold. £20 ish a bottle, and amazing. I've tried Stoli Elit, and at double the price, it's not much better.

you need a bottle of this Żubrówka (bison grass vodka)
.

Evil, evil stuff. Every time I drink it I wake up in a strange place with absolutely no recollection of how I got there. Try it with pure apple juice, very nice.

I don't often drink vodka as for some reason my body has no tolerance for it but when I do it's either Zubrowka or Boru as that's what they stock at my locals. I can't stand Smirnoff, Absolut or the other common ones, they just taste like tainted water.

Ah yes I've tried that. That goes on the list :)

I don't like the oilier ones, and they're supposed to be cold :p

Grey Goose is easily the best I've tried, followed by Belvedere.

The one on the left is a mystery. I bought it in Estonia but have no idea what it's called other than "very good" :D

Out of those I personally wouldn't bother with Smirnoff Black, Bladov or Absolut unless they are for less discerning vodka drinkers you might have come round.

I've got a 1L Smirnoff Black for people who want a vodka and diet coke.

Add, the Bison, which has already been mentioned (I just got another bottle today) and Stolichnaya Gold and you'll be a happy man.

I've seen you mention before that GG is your preference, but I find Stolly Gold and Stolly Elit to be that little bit better.

Does anyone now any Ukraine vodka?

My mate went to visit some relatives the other year and brought back a bottle. It was the nicest vodka I've ever had, No idea what the name of it was though.

Haha, I'll take it to the local Russian shop thats just opened. See if they can decipher :p[QUOTE='[DOD]Asprilla;10385048']Out of those I personally wouldn't bother with Smirnoff Black, Bladov or Absolut unless they are for less discerning vodka drinkers you might have come round.

I quite like the black actually. That was a present and the Blavod (the worst in the list IMO) was a prize in a raffle at work.

Sorted :)

I should have pointed out that there is also a Stolly Cristall which falls between the Elit and the Gold. It's only a little more expensive than the Gold and I prefer the Cristall slightly. However, the Gold is much easier to get hold of in the shops as opposed to ordering it online.

You know, I always thought these were one and the same. Black label?
