[EDIT] Ok, it's a tossup between Dos Santos and Rooney. I will probably go with Rooney just because I remember the atmosphere in the pub when that game was on.

Also, I thought that the Messi goal against Real Madrid was better than the one on the list.

Didn't think the Gomez goal was anything special, I think Berbatov's against Liverpool was much better.

I went with Ibrahimovic's, such a sweet strike under pressure.

The reason I didn't go for Neymar's is I'm taking into account the quality of Brazilian defending.

Neymar for me as well. Stankovic was hilarious and I always think of the gif that was made from it. As good as rooney's technique was for the goal his touch in the build up play was shocking!

I prefer goals that have a bit of work or skill gone into them, a shot is a shot, 9 times out of 10 they miss.

Hes a not a big bloke Neymar so did well to hold off those defenders.

I agree with you when it comes to somebody swinging at one from 40 yards out and it flying in. Stankovic's wasn't a swinger though, that was pure technique. Best goal for me. Followed by Neymar's and Ibra's.

Neymar and Messi, with Neymar edging it. The control and skill involved in both are sublime.

Long range strikes look great but I always feel the element of luck is greater.

Haha agree with that, shame they had to put that bad touch in there at the start

Definitely Neymar, that woman footballer had hell of a strike but it was a bit too clumsy really

Stankovic goal was pretty good he kept it straight and narrow :cool:
