I can't see the goals but this, I've seen Neymar's and it's quality, I think Messi's is just as good and being in the Champions League semi just makes it that little bit more special.

How can Rooney not win this? He had no time to think about it, he just did it. Thats pure natural talent. Not to mention it won it for UTD in a very tough game.

Rooney wins it for me. I watched them all and the Neymar goal is a close second. Not too sure why that Messi goal is up there, I would have thought the one he scored against RM in the CL would be up there.

I haven't watched the goals, I automatically assumed the Messi goal was the one vs Madrid. Ooops.

Also, Rooney had the whole time the ball was in the air to think about it, plus he shinned it

The ball took a deflection, he had to change his body shape. Its going to win, not only because its the best goal but because its Rooney and man utd. Popularity will edge it.

Must be an issue at the ISP end as I'm pretty sure mostly everyone else here is living in the UK too and don't have an issue.

Neymar for me I think. I did enjoy the Stankovic volley though and Rooney's goal is very good, shin or not. I remember seeing it at the Emirates before an Arsenal game (they have screens showing early kickoff games in the food court areas), it was one of those "wow!" moments.

Fair point people are making about the difference between goals and shots, with all the football played around the world it's hardly surprising a few screamers go in, for everyone of them there's another that goes out for a throwin (anyone remember a O'Shea(?) shot from a few years back, I think it literally went out of play level from where he took the shot?)

As for that woman goal, reminded me a lot of Essien's goal against Arsenal a few years back when he was filling in at rightback, driven shot with outside of right foot into top corner.

Agreed, he mishits a pass followed by a lucky shinner the ball could have gone anywhere really.

Dos Santos/Neymar/Ibrahimovic are all great goals, what's with the token womens goal though? you see those practically every week.

I was prepared to say 'token female goal' but it was a quite good strike, better than a few of the men's imo. The goalkeeper hardly tried though.
