Fair enough. In that case it's pointless having a server dedicated for BBC iplayer or other streaming services.Or they know you are accessing it via a VPN and block the traffic. It’s really not hard to identify those coming via VPNs.

As I said before, they are blacklisting known egress IPs.Just to add - I can't watch anything through it.
My Prime and Disney+ have been region limited. BBC iplayer won't work even though the VPN has a "BBC iplayer" server.
KeepSolid VPN doesn't get my recommendation. Likely why it was free.
I did also try a GPS location changer in case apps were getting my location from that. It seems either the VPN doesn't work or streaming companies do a decent job of tracking your actual location.

Any good Nord renewal deals or alternatives? Looking like £71 for 2 years. Cashback is only for new deals rather than renewals usually right?

So PIA for 3 years is £65 but its 94.5% cashback making it £3.58? That seems way go to be true! Got to be worth switching from Nord for that price.I've never renewed, always new account. If you don't care about streaming, privacy conscious but cheap(er) options include Mullvad and AzireVPN. Slightly more expensive but equally trustworthy are IVPN, and (supporting common streamers like iPlayer, Netflix etc) OVPN.Is there a good VPN for the odd daily use, not neededing one for streaming, downing of a few films at most, was paying Espress but at £12 seems a bit OTT for what I need it for, seen some cheaper ones but some peeps saying they sell info etc.
Many a thanks, will look into them, a little unsure how Mullvad works when its says pay for time?...Jsut paying for the time you are logged into their servers? If you don't care about streaming, privacy conscious but cheap(er) options include Mullvad and AzireVPN. No, it's €5 per month. They just mean to add time (months) to your account. You generate a random account ID (don't lose it!) and that's your login. Then you add one or more months, the price is a flat €5/month whether you get 1 month or 100 months. Use WireGuard not OpenVPN.Many a thanks, will look into them, a little unsure how Mullvad works when its says pay for time?...Jsut paying for the time you are logged into their servers?
