Was tempted to buy Saints and Sinners on the Quest, but went for the humble bundle! A little scared it won’t run though. 1650 Super... Alyx and Elite Dangerous run ok. Will download in the morning and try

So if buying Fallout 4 VR results in you just getting Fallout 4, does that mean that since I already own Fallout 4, I can simply play it in VR? I had assumed it was a different program.

Is it the VR version? You should be able to just use the key that came in the box to install it. The original Fallout 4 on disk only had a stub installer anyway.
It's the VR version
Just opened it and no disk just a steam key. I have a Quest 2 (I was hoping to use it with Oculus Link but it says Vive only)

It'll work - ironically it works better on Oculus touch controllers anyway. Index owners have to use a mod to make the Index controllers pretend to be touch controllers, as they never properly supported Index controllers.

Is it possible to get games from the epic store working in vr? Since elite dangerous is going to be free next week i believe.

Yeah, they work fine in VR. I am playing Subnautica at the moment in VR and it's on the Epic Store.

As an Aside, the free games on the Epic store are, well, epic!!

OK. So how do I get them working :D. I picked up subnautica now that I think about it, just haven't played (watched play throughs on youtube, so sort of know too much, but am happy to try it out).

Well, on the Epic Store I click on the three dots beside the game I want and create a shortcut.

Then I start Virtual desktop and double click on the shortcut. It starts in VR automatically then. You might have to alt-tab and click on the game to get the cursor in the right window.

Subnautica doesn't use the touch controllers, you have to have a gamepad.

Would also recommend you download VR essentials from nexus mods. Pretty easy to install.

It's a really good game!!

OK, gamepad for subnautica, definitely a sit down event then. No worries. Need a flight stick for elite too. I'll check out the mod, thanks for the recommendation!
