Worked on my PC browser this morning when I tried it, though it did take a couple of seconds for the confirm purchase option to appear.

If you use the referral your friend won't get the main discount as they don't stack unfortunately. They will just get the usual 25% off the normal price, and 10 days (I think) later you get £4 added to your account.
