VR for Star Wars Squadrons

I was hoping that a 3090 would run this game at an acceptable standard, but it still runs bad.
All my other VR games have been massively improved, but Squadrons still runs terribly. There's got to be some compatibility problem there.

On the G2?

By way of comparison, I haven't got around to playing this game much (and not at all since the GPU upgrade) but out of interest I just whacked everything up to ultra, 100% in game and steam and I get ~75fps in a practise dogfight with a squadron loaded. If I turn on reprojection then I get around 65-75% GPU usage. Is that similar to what you are experiencing?

On a Valve Index at 150%ss (Which is the sweet spot for clarity and the headset default, and possibly approaching G2 resolution) I was getting as low as 45fps in ultra. CPU constantly spiking at around 75%.
Dropped ss to 100 and I could still barely get 90fps even on low settings. I'd dropped the detail levels to low and it made hardly any difference which leads me to believe it's some sort of compatibility issue.

No Mans Sky is another game that just runs bad in VR too. Can't run that in Ultra on a 3090, but at least it does run better than my 1080ti.

I think I tried it again when I first got a Quest Pro and the performance was much better. Not really played it properly though, just flew around the training levels.
