VR on 2600k at 4.5Ghz and 1080ti OC

I know someone has already suggested a Samsung oddessey and you can only import them currently, but why not a Windows Mixed Reality headset?

I bought my Dell WMR headset 3 weeks ago and I'm glad I picked it over the rift, like you I was not happy about the res with the OR. Plus you don't have to pay £400 or £500, I got mine for £279 and it's great for IL-2 Sturmovik, Startrek bridge crew and Batman VR.

It's really easy to setup and you don't need extra usb ports, it works at 1440 res, has a better FOV and works and Steam, windows store and OR store with revive software.

Just measure your pupillary distance first, if you decide to get one.

Also look at some youtube videos, this is a good one

That's great info that took me down a nice rabbit hole! Thanks

Really weird, I played superhot vr on an OG PS4 and since then I've been unable to go back to 2D gaming easily.

I think u should go for it mate! Rift at £399 is awesome, especially with 7 free games. If I had a 2080 [or a graphics card which could run the rift] I would have snapped it up.

I personally wouldn't go for a WMR headset unless you need the flexibility. altho the tracking is ok, nothing will truly compare to actual room-scale.

The Vive is a big one to consider but I love analogue sticks.. can't imagine using a trackpad to walk around skyrim.

£350 is the price it goes for when on sale, only 2-3 times a year. Next time it's going to go for that price is probably going to be Black Friday.
