ok so it's something like this: you have the warranty with vtx3d (powercolor), and then separately under SOGA you have a maximum of 6 years in which you can claim to the retailer (ocuk) that your item has broken due to manufacturing faults (rather than misuse or normal wear and tear). the retailer isn't offering a warranty but they're still responsible under the purchase contract. if your cards break you could plausibly argue that expensive graphics cards shouldn't just die under normal use within 6 years, and the retailer should offer a full or partial refund, replacement, or repair.
regarding manufacturer warranties, you should also be able to request that the retailer deal with the warranty process throughout its entire duration (within 6 years), again under SOGA. so if your cards break at any time within the 2 year warranty, just tell ocuk that your items broke when they shouldn't have, and ocuk should deal with the entire process for you. again, after this period you still have 4 more years in which ocuk is responsible for your items.
in other words it seems like it's very difficult for the customer to get f---ed over in this country, so don't worry![]()
Currently running a vtx card no problems an d have had powercolor previously the same no problems.I think part of the reason why the cards are cheaper is down to the packaging as you get next to nothing in the box apart from the card, with my 7950 I got the card , a driver cd and a mini display port adaptor and that's it.
@ OP have you enquired with ocuk with regards who deals with the warranty ?
Have you made a post in this section asking ?

I wouldn't expect too much regarding the six year thing, if that was the case nobody would ever have to pay to upgrade, nothing last forever so if you can confirm ocuk deal with the two years that's a result.
