As this thread is here, I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this photo?
It's a scan of a slide, taken from the roof of my house in West London possibly around the early 90's.
Just interested in what the occasion for such a formation was, if any? Any info on it, if anyone knows, would be great.
I work at old sarum
not at weekends though![]()
I was very lucky today as I caught her twice - once at RAF Waddington, then later on at Newark Air Museum. Didn't take many photo's as I wanted to enjoy seeing her fly, likely for the last time.
All I'll say is that they normally park it in the Hangar after flight if it's not due out over the next couple of days. It's still parked outside. Granted they may take it back inside in the morning but we'll see.Loving the pics, makes me wish I'd gotten out to see her last flight!
They tried their hardest, roads around Doncaster airport were mental despite the warnings. I dread going to work if I'm working on its last flight.Supposedly got 2 extra flights planned as they haven't completely annoyed the nations authorities by clogging the roads on all the flyover areas![]()
Great shots. Pity no vid with that sound!
