Just got around to trying the demo. Addictive little thing isn't it? Reminds me of Jet Set Willy in a way.

Amiga did rock but I don't regret having being a Speccy gamer.

An A1200 was my comp for 8-14~ incidentally (also got a SNES for my 10th birthday).

Grabbed it on one of the Steam Indie bundle packs. The game is hard as nails, but so addictive - has that "just one more go" pull

Fk the room with spikes at top & bottom and 4 triangles that kill you with 3-4 strings you have to bounce across, I stopped there

Been playing this myself over the last couple of nights - very good, very hard, very addictive and certain proof that gameplay is more important than eye candy.

I even think the music is great too :cool:

I've got it running on an aged laptop with next to no graphics hardware and it runs perfectly. It's the first game I've ever managed to play on it at all

Edit - What number of deaths do people have, I don't know how far into the game I am but I've already got over 700 deaths

I had 801 my first play through, and getting the last few difficult trinkets must have doubled that.

At the moment the game is still making me laugh most of the time but I can definitely see that changing to rage before long

The demo is not that difficult, Super Meat Boy is definitely more challenging, especially the dark and extra stages.

Super meat boy is a much harder game, VVVVVV only gets as hard as some of the stuff in SMB getting the final trinkets and V ranks on challenges.
