Some input devices can be rotated along their axis and with rotation sensitivity your Cintiq can recognise this rotation and transform it in some applications (such as Corel Painter) into rotating brush strokes.
With Tool ID each Cintiq input device can be individually programmed and configured for each application. And these functions are automatically activated as soon as the application starts.
The ExpressKeys are a set of buttons located on both sides of the tablet. Assign your favourite keys or macros to these buttons and start to forget your keyboard.<br>

Whether Word, Excel or PowerPoint: JustWrite Office can be integrated seamlessly into your Microsoft Office environment, opening up a whole new way of working. Thanks to JustWrite Office, you can now use handwriting in your digital documents. Experience how it feels to work efficiently, creatively and interactively in a digital workflow.
You know it well: You receive a Microsoft® Word® document for checking and have to make changes in the document or send these changes by e-mail: Page 2, paragraph 3 needs a little attention… With JustWrite Office, making annotations has never been easier: Simply circle a word, underline specific lines or select entire paragraphs, just as you would with a conventional pen. Using the same method you can then add handwritten corrections or notes directly and effortlessly to the document. Then: Save the Microsoft® Word® document and send it back – the recipient will then be able to view your annotations and alter or delete them as desired, without even installing the JustWrite Office software. Plus: Handwritten annotations are more noticeable by far – never again will you be scanning the entire document for those minute changes.
Your own personal style
Thanks to JustWrite Office, you can now add your own personal style to Microsoft® Office® documents: Sign your Microsoft® Word® documents, just as you would a traditional letter – but now it's digital and fully scalable. Similarly you can insert handwritten greetings to Microsoft Word® documents…
Give your PowerPoint presentations an even more professional and eye-catching look: JustWrite Office now allows you to add handwritten annotations, highlights or graphics even during live presentations. You can then save these extras as a Microsoft® PowerPoint® file. Your presentations will now be even more animated and interactive. Never again will you be left endlessly hunting the laser pointer: a virtual laser pointer comes fully integrated with the JustWrite Office software.

Please note, anyone who wants to complain about the price of a high end professional level tablet is not welcome in this thread. Needless negative comments are not welcomed.

Used a wacom tablet at uni and bought a bamboo for myself :) Love their products. I get why they are that expensive but damn thats a lot for a tablet - roll on getting 6 numbers and I would buy one.

Are you likely to be stocking any of the accessories/spares? I've been wanting to try the Felt nibs for the Wacom pens, but haven't been able to find anywere in the UK that sells them the last few times I looked.

The Wacom Inkling is fairly imminently being launched (few weeks from now), as much as I'd totally love a cintiq and can't afford one personally, I also have an old wacom a4 tablet that's 'intuos' quality, so not really after either of those.

The Inkling on the other hand I'll likely be getting day 1 when it comes out. Chances of it being added to the lineup as well as getting it @ launch time?

Yes, I can get hold on all accessories. Drop me an email at [email protected] of exactly what your after.

I will speak to Wacom tomorrow about these. I did see them on Wacoms website, but wasn't aware they are being launched so soon.

My Wacom contact needs a good kicking then.

Their UK site doesn't contain a date, and it may take time for it to launch elsewhere, but the US launch that was meant to be this month just very recently (a few days ago) got pushed back to 'mid October' (and says as much on their US site for the product listing).

So I'm hopeful of getting my hands on one in a matter of weeks (somewhere between mid Oct and end of Nov) rather than months.

Pricing and availability
The new Inkling sketch pen is priced at 149.99 GBP (including VAT) and will be available from October 2011 onwards.

Now I think that PR was before the release date slip, but indicates it could trail the US launch by around a month (from its revised date).
