Wacom is back!

how good are the basic versions for drawing and so on. always fancied getting one as do a lot of drawing but never quite sure of quality for money

Wacoms are the best brand out there for tablets, so the bamboos are great entry level tablets.

I must say tablets have come a longggg way, these look absolutely amazing!

they coulda gone farther if only wacom had some proper competiton at the hi end, there is no alternative vs the cintiq at least not at that price point

The Wacom Fun Pen and Touch is a good product, I use mine occasionally. It did cost less than that last year from the Purple Place; but I guess prices have gone up.

A couple of retailers in the UK are beginning to set expectations of stock appearing ~13th October for the Inkling. I know how it goes, so won't be holding my breath for then. Would be good to hear what your rep/contact has to say about the due availability of stock to OCUK though.

The company i work for also sell wacom products and the availability through distribution channels as of late has been terrible! I know there was a specific issue with the Cintiq 21" but they were on backorder for months. Worse was a stand for a Cintiq 21 that took 3 months (Admittedly a couple of months of that was a supplier issue) but when it arrived it was a USED item.. Clearly was some sort of demo unit as it was dirty, scratched and the rubber feet were filthy!
