It's usually on offer a few times a year, fathers day is one. You don't need any of the dlc if you come join us Monday nights as at least one of us will have all of it and as long as someone has the dlc in multiplayer you can play (you can't collect balls or clubs though)

The extra courses are worth it, but if you are just starting out then you may as well play through all the included ones a few times first. And try some of the others by playing with people that already have them. There are also a couple of course bundles available. I think I picked up at least one of them in a Meta sale, which brings the price per course down further.

get the base game go from there.
if you are playing with some one who has the course / purchased a copy then you can play togeather on the course.
i.e. not everyone on the social group monday nights has all the course and leach of the hardworking folk, there rolw is to kindly provide free entertanment :D so its a win all round unless they have bad jokes in which case they get banned for a session.
there is a bundle which goes on offer and gives you a lot of the courses in one go.

if you got the Quest+ subscription i think the base game and all content is on there at the moment so free untill your free trial runs out.

I already own the base game it the price of all the addons that surprised me
Guessing that how they make the money out of people (£15 for base gase and £55 for the addons)

goes to show how much of a success it is.
when i look at the DLC for Golf with your friends this is much better value. some are £4 and some at £8
but as i say. grab a buddy / or a random bod from here and go through some of the courses to see if you'll like them.
they are all very interesting and have their own quirks and positives r negatives.

I've not hesitated yet to purchase one. I know it's those purchases that keep them producing new content, I'm very happy to support them. We're now finally getting to a point where it feels like the hangout crew can pick a course and not feel like we did it recently.

In fact it's probably time to go over some of the originals again!
 
For some reason this game doesn't work on my Quest 3

Just shows 3 dots when i click the game icon and doesn't load

Restarting the quest 3 doesn't help, I have just uninstalled the game and now downloading it again to see if that will fix it

Not sure what else i can do on a Quest 3 to try get this game to work :confused:
