**WANT 8GB 2400MHz FOR AS LITTLE AS £59.99 Inc. VAT? - THEN CHECK THIS THREAD OUT!!** (MV-3V4G3D/US)

I would try 9-10-10-21 at 2000. The way I found timings was to set to 11-11-11-24 and then lower each timing one at a time and run memtest for a bit, then lower the next. For example 9-11-11-24 then 9-10-11-24 etc.

be doing some further testing on this later.

Z68X-UD3H-B3 Rev 1.3 board on 1Uh bios (so latest official)

Testing 2133mhz @ 9-10-10-21 88 1T, using some of 8 Packs settings from earlier in this thread (read through it a few times at work but can't find the post now).

CPU @ 4.6ghz though might use that at stock and reclock later since I have updated the bios, was rock solid before at this though.

2133mhz @ 9-10-10-21 88 1T @ 1.55v passed 1 pass of memtest USB bootstick

However tried booting windows and froze on Windows logo, bumped voltage to 1.6v and windows boot OK.

32M Pi was stable and passing in 7 min 20 secs i think from memory but Prime had a couple of cores drop out quickly, bumped VTT from 1.085v to 1.10v and increased RAM to 1.625v, played a few rounds on BF3 on this with no issues but locked up overnight running Prime and event viewer not showing exactly when, will check further tonight when I get in.

Left it running Prime now on following settings whilst at work:

CPU @ 4.6ghz 1.344v load VTT 1.11v, rest default
RAM @ 2133mhz @ 9-10-10-21 88 1T @ 1.63v

Will see the results when I get in

How silly of me. New install of Windows 8 and hadn't configured power settings so although it was priming it appeared to be going to sleep after an hour. Disabled that and retested at following settings:

CPU @ 4.6ghz 1.344v load (VID +0.065v), VTT 1.10v, rest default
RAM @ 2133mhz @ 9-10-10-21 88 1T @ 1.60v

Superpi 32m, memtest, 8 hour Prime Blend @ 7gb RAM usage stable.

Don't think I will both tightening the seconds and thirds, I barely see any change from the auto settings when testing in Aida.

Excellent RAM :)

2x4gb, 2400 @ 9-11-11-30 2T 1.65v

A10-5800k @ 4.4ghz, IGP @1169mhz, Asus F2A85M-PRO M-ATX motherboard.
These little chips get a huge boost @2400.
Totally bandwidth starved platform, bring on the DDR4.

What trc is everyone running? I'm currently at 2133mhz 10-10-10-28-45 1.55v, but that trc of 45 is set to auto so I was wondering if it is possible to reduce it.

Edit; just noticed that everyone is running a lower tras, will have to test that. Maybe cl9 with 1.6v is worth a look too.

ok after some advice really. Have changed motherboard to an asrock and i'm having trouble getting the same memory speed as before. I could run 2133 before quite happily on my Asus motherboard but now the highest I can reach is 2000 with higher voltages.

Here are the settings im trying

2133
9-11-11-28 1N
everything else is on auto for the time being
DRAM 1.6v
VTT 1.105
VCCSA 1.115

those are all the options I have as it's a mITX motherboard. I'm not expecting amazing clocks compared to the V Forumula but just wondered if there is anything else I could try?

In comparrison
2000
9-10-10-211N
everything else on auto apart from trfc I think it is at 96
DRAM 1.45
VTT 1.105
VCCSA 1.115

works fine

Same here James, struggling to get above 2000 on my Asrock Extreme6. TBH though would I really notice a difference if it was 133mhz higher?!

mmm I seem to get better results with my original 10-10-10-2T @ 2200 (and at only 1.45V) vs 9-11-11-1T @ 2200 ???

1st is CAS10 - 2T, 2nd CAS9 1T ????
