Want to go somewhere amazing for Christmas

Excellent choice.

Bottle of Notes
Transporter Bridge
Roseberry Topping
Stones throw from Redcar

:p

It is - suggits at teacake town (Great Ayton) near Roseberry and a stroll along the South Gare

The Little Chip in Redcar (is it still there?!?)

A gourmet meal in the Linthorpe and a parmo from Acklam

An unfound gem in the rich patchwork of Staycations

Lapland

Cuba, although I’m not sure on covid restrictions and can’t remember when the storm season starts/ends, either way it’s a fantastic place to visit, especially Havana. I’ve been in May many times which I think is just before storm season starts. I think Christmas is ok for good weather.

A week though, you may need more.

Can you fly to Philadephia in less than 9 hours?

It should be amazing that this exists in the richest country in the world.

That is all over America. I was in LA and Vegas in 2019 and you literally had drugs and homeless people everywhere. Guys trying to catch things in the air in the middle of hollywood. People living in car parks in their cars. I will never forget one car which had plants and all sorts (on the bonnet) probably been there for years living in the car in some small retail parking lot on a main road.

Their legal weed is so strong and cheap as well compared to Amsterdam and I'm not surprised everyone is at it. Literally $5 to get off your face for a whole night. I rented a porsche for the time I was there and went for the one with the more powerful engine the sport model and it stank of weed as if someone was growing it in the boot and not something I would expect when hiring a premium car, even though no smoking was allowed in the car, people don't care as it's not legal to smoke outdoors unless on private property. Also the number of cars in LA that had dings, dents and parts missing was hilarious and the driving there is pretty insane for a developed country. I would say at least 1 in 3 cars had some sort of major damage to it (as in it wasn't just a minor scratch).

People often talk about weed being made legal here. If that happened then I'm pretty sure our homeless and drug problems would be a lot worse than they are currently and we would be like USA in that respect in a quick manner of time. It's not known as a gateway drug for a laugh.

I couldn't tell you if the Little Chip is still there, I moved away from Middlesbrough in 2013. The walk along South Gate is a nice one though!
