Apparently every fool can do it.

I just read this from some site or other about Call of Duty on Revolution

"We already know that the power of the Revolution won't match that of the Xbox 360, so it will interesting to see how the two Call Of Duty games compare graphically."

Why on earth will that be interesting ?

I might go and work for Top Gear magazine.

"Yes, we already know this Fiat Panda is slower than a Porche 911, but it will be interesting to see them in a race"

See.... anyone can do it :)

that's actually pretty funny.

lets add our own, heres mine.

"Yes, we already know penguins cant fly compare to an eagle, but it will be interesting to see which one will fly faster"
 
It is funny as well, since you can sort of see what they might have meant (as in: The 360 has much more graphical power, but if you compare the two at standard def, it would be interesting ... ) but they failed in so many ways.

I've done games journalism in the past, and one thing I found is that anyone can write a review, but not everyone can write a good review. I thought my reviews weren't that bad, but compare mine to the proper ones at IGN for example, and I fall way short (at least IMO anyway). There's a technique to writing good reviews, and so many people just don't have it, nor do they have a good enough grasp of the English language and grammar to do it well.

Perhaps, but I can at least understand what you're saying. Some people on here have made posts which require me to read it at least 3 times to have any kind of idea of what they're on about.

That's actually what drives me to insanity nearly every day.
 
heh i think mines pretty bad at times, but as long as i can read when im writing it theres no problem :D

ok the funny thing is though, i can see where the reviewer is comming from :(

I think what they mean is it will be interesting as it will give some form of benchmark as to how less powerfull it is, which to be honest will be interesting to see, cause i doubt it will be a huge difference.
Then again maybe i am wrong.

edit and why is a 3 letter variation of what (the one with the o in the middle) filtered out??
 
What's so bad about it? Put plainly, they want to see exactly how much worse CoD2 will look on the Rev, but they're being more diplomatic than just saying that straight out.

Dont want to offend dyslexic people, I actually am, I'm fine if I think about what I'm doing, but really cant be bothered to proof read every post.
