wanted: quicker boot time.

Hi.

Currently the only HDD im running is a 500gb hitachi deckstar.
Which gives an aweful boot time to windows 7.

what would be the best way to speed this up?

faster hdd's? SSd? raid (which i know nothing at all about)?

Get one small SSD (maybe 32-64GB) and install your operating system on it. Use your 500GB just for storage.


Also type

msconfig in run and remove some programs for starting up when windows boots.

Use sleep. There's no reason to reboot tbh.
