Couldn’t agree more. I played a lot of the closed and open testing and while I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it. I just found it very ‘meh’ ……but I 100% believe that was because I was soloing all the time.
The game is unchanged, so maybe wait a few months and check the update notes before trying for 2 hrs.
Try the NA servers if you can’t grouo up with anyone from here. I tried that on my last play and found it a much more enjoyable experience as I typically find NA servers in most mp games to have more comms for soloing (most every one speaks English as opposed to EU where you can have a mix of languages)
But then you have to speak to Americans.... *shudders* I'd rather speak to Bobski from the Baltics
Yep, I was playing Arce Raiders just the other day. Queue times have increased especially when squaded but its still plenty live and kicking. Will get a big boost when the new update drops.
I've only played on the West European servers thus far, but have come across quite a wide range of nationalities ... In seriousness, everyone i've spoke to has been very friendly. Exactly. I remembered i had a 10% off code they emailed me months ago (capped at £2), so was £24. Best money i've spent on a game for a long long time.
That would actually be a great addition. The ability to add someone in game that you’ve randomly met and had a bit of craic with without having to mess about with sending steam id’s or the likes would be brilliant.
Yeah it is a good game the more you get into it. It is still a bit campy is my only gripe but with a squad full of mates with comms you can still have bags of fun
Just the luck of the draw I guess. During my time in the testing the comms on EU was utterly awful. It was either non existent or just constant crap being shouted. I could count on 1 hand that was missing some fingers the number of times I had any sort of positive interactions on EU while soloing. NA on the other hand was completely different - people asking for supplies, giving advice, offering lifts etc was top notch on pretty much every game I joined.In seriousness, everyone i've spoke to has been very friendly. I’ll have to give US servers a go. Was ping/latency a big issue? Guess the combat isn’t as fast paced as BF6 or anything like that so matters slightly less.
