Wardogs

noticed you have HD600 in your sig, have you tried PEACE audio APO ? Transforms them as bypasses windows audio drivers totally.
I tend to use my hifiman Ananda for gaming as they are more comfortable. Not used peace for gaming I do use bit perfect to an external dac for music though.

Glad to see this doing well....as one of the last local decent size game studios it would have been a shame if they'd failed to carve themselves a space in a very congested market, which was my concern....but seems the partnership with Team17 is paying dividends.

Does it require much grind? I just don't have time for games you need to 'work' at to enjoy....can you just hop in and play without being frustrated at lack of access to stuff?

There are so many ways you can play [ in terms of styles ] My mates are all out assault players and snipers, I was spotting for them and its just as much, if not even more fun.

Watch some UTube video's. You can snip, attack, build, transport troops/supplies.

I was mainly interested in the money mechanic...is it persistent between sessions? What do you spend it on? Can you just pick and up play starting at zero or have you got to grind to get any worthwhile gear etc?

I believe you would start with 50k like the open play test, you can spend that on entry level guns, equipment etc. By helping your team in some way like dropping players off, kill enemy, spotting enemy will give you more money. For instance to unlock a higher tier gun requires you to level up in that category but then to unlock the gun may cost 10k initially and say 1k each time you request it per round. The money banked from that round will then carry over to your account and you can spend that in other rounds. If you run out of money you can always catch a ride in with nothing and loot a dead player or buy a spotting scope for less than 1k and use that to earn cash spotting players while leveling up recon.

there is definitely a grinding aspect to it as the better guns and attachments need to be unlocked. how grindy that is remains to be seen as the progression was buffed for the play tests.

Now I'm going to be picky. 100 players per match over 3 teams. I know there is balancing when joining a game. But 1 eam will always be OP with 34 player's, if the server is at max. (I work in accounting, so the numbers have to balance lol ).
